Terms

These terms cover krites.dev and founding seats for Krites Pro. Krites is run by Quinn Lott, a sole proprietor doing business as Krites ("Krites", "we"). If anything here is unclear, write to hello@krites.dev.

The plugin

The Krites plugin for Claude Code is free and open source. Its code comes with its own license, the Apache License 2.0, and that license, not these terms, governs it, including its warranty disclaimer.

What a gate proves

Krites runs the check commands you configure and records their exit codes. A passing gate or a receipt shows which commands ran, with which exit codes, on which diff, at which commit. It does not show that your tests are correct or complete, and it does not replace your own review. A signature shows a receipt was not altered after signing; it shows who signed only when you verify it against a key you pinned. A receipt is evidence from a machine you trust, not proof against an agent that ran on it: an agent with a shell can forge the run before you export it. You remain responsible for the code you ship.

Founding seats

• A founding seat costs $99 (US dollars) for one year of Krites Pro, charged once at checkout.
• Pro is in development and not yet available. We plan the switcher, cross-agent adapters, and the observatory; what ships may change as it is built.
• Pro "ships" when seat holders can download it and activate it with a license key. Your year starts that day, or the day you buy if Pro has already shipped, and we will email the address you used at checkout when it ships.
• There are 100 founding seats. A seat is for one person. Renewing is a new payment you choose to make; nothing is ever charged automatically. If you renew without a gap, your seat keeps the $99 yearly price, and we will email you before your year ends.

Refunds

• Before Pro ships, you can have a full refund at any time. Email hello@krites.dev from the address you used at checkout.
• At checkout you pick a ship-by date. If Pro has not shipped by that date, we refund you in full within 5 business days after it, without you needing to ask.
• Whenever you buy, you can also cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund, even if Pro has shipped, the same way: email hello@krites.dev from the address you used at checkout.
• We issue refunds to the original payment method within 5 business days of your request or of your ship-by date. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
• After those 14 days, once Pro has shipped and your year has started, the payment is not refundable, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

License keys

Pro is licensed per seat with a license key that verifies offline. Keep your key to yourself; do not share or resell it. If you stop paying, you keep the right to use the last version of Krites released while your seat was active. You stop receiving new versions.

Your code and credentials

Krites runs on your machine. It never holds a vendor credential, never meters a token, and does not send your code, diffs, or check output to us. Privacy covers what little we do receive.

Using the site

Do not attack, overload, or try to break into krites.dev or anything behind it.

No warranty, and limits on liability

KRITES PRO, YOUR FOUNDING SEAT, AND THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your seat. This limit never reduces a refund these terms promise you, and it does not apply to fraud or intentional misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. If a change affects a seat you hold, we will email you before it applies. The price and refund terms in effect when you bought a seat stay with that seat.
